sex for money
Although I think sex for money should be legal - people have sex for much worse reasons than money as it is - I never thought of comparing porn and prostitution.
Creating and selling a porn is considered "free speech" under the first amendment. But having sex for money is not protected by law. It is illegal.
Actors in porn are have sex for money, the only difference between acting in porn and being a regular call-girl is that it is taped to be viewed by a third party. It appears to be legal to pay two people to have sex in front of you outside of video, in real life.
It is illegal to hire someone to have sex with someone else . (i.e. buying a prostitute for your buddy) But it might be legal if you pay them both to have sex with eachother.
So it porn exempt because a third party is paying their salaries and they aren't paying one another?
How id that different from paying a madam and her distributing the money to the call-girl? If the madam throws the money in a pool, so no one individual is paying for sex, is that considered a third party paying for sex - no different then the people who invest in the porn industry?
Maybe Johns should get together and make deals among themselves to pay for one another's
sex. They could even tape it and call it "art."
