unintended pregnancy - now made easier!

Unintended Pregnancy Linked to State Funding Cuts

I can be pretty cheap, especially when it comes to the government giving my money hard-earned money to the poor, and even worse, poor people who keep having babies that they know they can't afford.

But I'm in support of birth control being free, or offered at a small nominal fee, to everyone - not just the people who can afford it.

If everyone would just be responsiable (assuming they're not trying to have children) then using birth control would become the norm - especially among young men and women and people living high-risk lifestyles.

And that's my rant for the day.

    here's my rant...

abstinence-only sex-ed...kids are having sex. parents (conservatives) really need to face it. by the time students graduate from high school nearly all of them have had at least one partner. and i think our job is to educate students on how they can protect themselves not only from unwanted pregnancy but also std's...because many students have multiple partners, and they're exposed to diseases.

A - Katie and I went walking in the park after work yesterday. We played - where were you?? :)

GTG - I agree. Believe it or not, I think I only had one - OK, somewhere between 2-3 - when I graduated HS. I managed to make it out disease and pregnebcy free, but I saw other girls get pregnet and there are so many people, even now at our age, who don't seem to think condoms are important!

i was such a good kid in high school...no sex for me until after graduation.

i wasn't referring to anyone in this blogging community when i was talking about sex-ed. i'd hope at this point you all know about it...i was referring to current high school students.
